The Dukamo family have been encouraging their neighbors to believe in themselves and the coffee they produce since 2006 when they began their family owned business.
This heirloom varietal of coffee, is a delicious example of the wild genetics living in the heart of the birthplace of coffee at almost 2000m.
It is a medium acid, red apple and cane sugar cup with chocolate and nut undertones. Depending on extraction, this medium light roast presents an excellent shot of espresso that hits all the fruity apple, lime, walnut and chocolate notes you could want. It is a beautiful showcase example of traditional Ethiopian natural processing and if you want to drink it filter, ease up on the heat if you can and pour over at 90c. It's delicious.
