Our Story

Tosco Fino — rough and refined, two ends of every thread.

It all begins with a deep fascination about our human connection. From the Greek Moirai to 紅線, or the Red Thread of Fate, humanity has always placed a deeper meaning on the invisible, but not intangible connection between us.

These concepts aren't lost on the seed that was planted on a steep hillside in Kenya, or Peru, weaving its path to a barista pulling a shot in Barcelona, or you drinking delicious coffee wherever and however you like it, as it was always meant to be. 

Tosco Fino (rough/fine) is a celebration of that connection. The opposite ends of those threads held together in perfect tension. Like coffee itself: raw at origin, refined in the cup. Every bag we roast is that balance made real. 

Every artist represents our commitment to the vision of expression, of creating something from nothing. To bringing contemplation over a cup of coffee, and honoring the lives and stories we have to share.

And through this connection from seed and then back again, is our dedication to helping improve the communities that cherish us, support us, and ultimately we would not be able exist without. And most importantly to the farmers and producers and those that support them, that weave us all closer, to a better world made possible together.
